Established in 2016, Nova Contemporary aims to cultivate the reciprocal exchange of Thailand's contemporary art and culture with Southeast Asia and beyond. Showcasing both established and emerging artists through a diverse program of exhibitions and events—with a primary focus on Thai artists, Nova Contemporary brings art education to the general public and contributes to Thailand's ever-growing vibrant art community. Nova is situated in the Ratchadamri area, a bustling business district between Lumphini Park and the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, whose roads are lined with offices and hotels, a mark of the city’s shift in economic center that once ran along the river to the roads that lead inland.
